What Are The Class Prerequisites?

• FOR  BLS SKILLS:  Completion of HeartCode BLS on the American Heart Association website (an additional fee applies) email the completion certificate to the instructor at: stephany@cprconcepts.com  The classroom fee is $55, cash only

• FOR BLS COURSE:  THERE ARE NO PREREQUISITES. For this class option, the total fee is $60,cash only. No additional fees apply.

• You must have a working and accessible personal email to receive cards. Your work or business email will not be accepted)

What Happens If I am Late?

If you are 10 minutes late the doors will be locked and you will have to reschedule. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO RESCHEDULE  ONE TIME ONLY.

What If I Forget To Call Or Show Up?

You must call  if you are not attending class or you will not be permitted to attend another class and you will not receive a refund on any fees paid.

What If My Primary Language Is Not English?

Spanish: No hablamos español

French: On ne parle pas français

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate your needs. Please make sure you have a good understanding of the English language, written and spoken before enrolling in class. You can find classes that are taught in your primary language on the American Heart Association Website.

What If I Have A Group Who Needs CPR Training?

Contact the instructor to get your group scheduled. You must have a minimum of 8 students to host a class at your location

How Many Times Can I Reschedule?

You are permitted to reschedule one time if you call the instructor to make arrangements. Rescheduling will only be accepted via phone call.

What Type Of Payment Options Do You Accept?

We accept cash only.

Can Classes Be Cancelled?

Yes, classes can be cancelled due to instructor illness, dangerous weather conditions, and low enrollment. If you are in a class that has low enrollment, you will be contacted by the instructor, and moved to the next class date that works for you.

Do You Offer Weekend Classes?

Yes, we offer classes every Saturday for individuals.

We offer Sunday classes upon request for groups or businesses with a minimum of 8 students. You must reserve this request by making a prepayment of the full amount.

Is There Anything I Need To Complete Before The Class?

Yes. There are two classes. To complete the Heartsaver Firstaid certification, you must complete the Heartsaver Firstaid Online course first, email the certificate then contact the instructor to schedule a 30 minute hands on skills session. If you want to complete the Hybrid BLS (optional), you must complete the Heart Code BLS online and email the completion certificate to the instructor. Then attend a BLS skills session. Be aware, the Hybrid option does add additional costs. To complete the in-class BLS option (everything is completed in the classroom)there are NO PREREQUISITES. Please call for details

How Long Is Class?

Firstaid skills sessions are approximately  45 minutes to 1 hour.  The BLS class is approximately 3 hours. 

What If I Don’t Pass The Class?

This class has a 100% passing rate. You are guaranteed to pass the class with our instructors. You will be remediated by our instructors individually, if necessary.

Will You Travel To Teach At Local Businesses?

Yes, we will travel to local businesses with a minimum of 8 students and a prepayment of the full amount for the class. There are no refunds. Payment is expected at the time of service. 

How Far Will You Travel?

We will travel a maximum of 50 miles with a minimum of 10 students and a prepayment of the full amount for the class. There are no refunds.

When Will I Receive My Card?

You will receive an e-card via the personal email you used to register for your class in 2-4 business days. If you haven’t received your e-card, please check your spam folder first. If you don’t find it there contact your instructor here.

Is The Card Accepted Everywhere?

Yes.

How Long Is The Card Good For?

Your card will be good for 2 years.

Where Is Parking Available?

There is parking in the front and back of the school building.

Is There A Dress Code?

No, there is no dress code. Please wear what makes you feel comfortable.
